Educating the Youth
Posted by admin on July 20th, 2008 filed in EducationAs defined in the internet “education focuses on enhancing a person’s ability in a specific trade or profession, as well as the development of one’s mental and moral development”. Personally, I define education, a means to gather information, as one of the basic tools of a person necessary to survive everyday life. Unfortunately, I can also describe it as a privilege, not anymore a right. Even at a very young age, I have always wanted to be an educator. It gives me great pleasure in knowing that I am able to impart knowledge or information, no matter how big or small, to people of varied ages around me. I recognize the value of education that is why I am in very much support of institutions that have made their mission focused on the improvement of the educational and information system, especially of those for the youth. I have encountered in the internet an agency wherein they use proceeds from car donations to help improve education systems in the poorest areas of the globe such as in Africa and third-world countries such as India and the Philippines.
The agency also looks for kind-hearted people who are willing to donate a house or property, the proceeds of which are also used for the mentioned purpose. It is noted in the institution’s website that an advantage to give such donations include tax deductions and hassle-free way of disposing properties that are not used anymore. But I believe that the biggest advantage is to actually know that in your own way, you were able to change and help shape a child’s future. The agency’s donate car process is outlined in the website making it easy for those who are interested to help the agency achieve their mission. Now, it is all up to you.
