Posted by admin on June 13th, 2008 filed in ComputersPortable storage has evolved so much in the past two decades: from magnetic tapes to floppy disks to zip drives to the memory stick or thumb drive. The popularity of memory sticks was a product of the wide adoption of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) port and the exponential improvement of flash memory storage.
